Salt Lake City Teriyaki Bowl Catering: Fresh Made-To-Order Meals Announced

Teriyaki Grill, a family-owned restaurant brand in Utah, announced its expanded catering menu, reaffirming its commitment to serving fresh, healthy, made-to-order meals. Nearly three decades after opening its doors, the company continues to build its menu around real nutrition, with a mission that remains closely tied to the values that first guided its founders.

That mission is perhaps best understood through the story of co-founder Mike Keim, whose route into the restaurant world did not follow the usual path. Long before Teriyaki Grill became a familiar name in Utah, Keim learned discipline early, developing his cooking skills through hands-on work and a steady focus on doing things the right way. He later pursued professional football, playing for the New Orleans Saints, Seattle Seahawks, and San Francisco 49ers. Those years in the NFL shaped more than his work ethic; they fundamentally changed the way he thought about food.

Competing at the highest level required more than talent. It demanded consistency, recovery, and fuel that supported performance day after day. Over time, Keim came to see that eating well is not simply a lifestyle preference, but a practical foundation for how a person feels and functions. That lesson eventually became the guiding principle behind Teriyaki Grill. Alongside his wife and co-founder, Tiffany Keim, he built a restaurant centered on a straightforward promise of fresh, fast, and nutritious meals.

“Everyone has an inner athlete,” Mike explained. “Whether you work a desk job, go to school, or compete in sports, our food is made to help you feel your best after every single meal.”

To uphold that standard, the team hand-trims meats daily and relies on ingredients that are never frozen. Each bowl is made to order and fully customizable, allowing guests to build meals that align with personal preferences, including high-protein, low-carb, gluten-free, or spicy options.

The same focus on nourishment extends beyond individual orders and into the communities Teriyaki Grill serves. The brand regularly provides meals for local high school athletes, as well as teams at Brigham Young University and the University of Utah. Most recently, it catered a free meal for the Spanish Fork football team, supporting their health and performance through the season.

Leadership at Teriyaki Grill also reflects a community-first mindset from within. Tiffany Keim, a member of the Women’s Leadership Institute, has helped shape a culture where women are encouraged to grow into management roles. Today, women represent half of the brand’s managers.
